The only one of its kind in the world, our quick-opening electric cap system enables aircraft, helicopters or other vehicles to access and exit the shelter in a matter of minutes. Attached to the gable arch and designed to maximize usable space when opened, this electric cap has a semi-circular shape to prevent stagnation and collection of water or snow.
Controlled hygrometry to prevent ageing
Our Bachmann shelters can be fitted with a unique, highly efficient humidity control system, which maintains the overall relative humidity level in the enclosure at less than 45%. This system prevents premature aging of the materials, and consumes very little electricity.
Our long experience in the field of controlled humidity has also shown that the cost of our system is very low compared to the savings it makes by preventing corrosion of sensitive equipment. In fact, annual electricity consumption and maintenance costs do not exceed 5% of the shelter's purchase price. However, the use of this system has a significant impact on your long-term logistics costs:

Double curvature technology for the armed forces
Bachmann's shelter technology, which combines a sturdy galvanized steel structure with an ultra-strong double-curvature synthetic membrane assembled by high-frequency (HF) welding, guarantees durability and protection for decades.
Sheltered from the elements
Bachmann shelters enable you to protect your equipment even in the most extreme weather conditions. They have been certified and tested for wind speeds of up to 180 km/h, and the structure is capable of withstanding a snow load of 90 kg/m².
